From Monday 1 April 2024, Murray Beith Murray became a limited liability partnership, Murray Beith Murray LLP (registered number SO307281). 

This change creates a transparent and modern business platform that better reflects the current size and profile of the firm.  As trusted advisors to generations of clients since 1849, we remain committed to providing the same high quality legal, financial and administrative expertise. 

Legal Effect

From 1 April 2024, the business, assets and liabilities of Murray Beith Murray transferred to Murray Beith Murray LLP.  All client money, information, records and data necessary to enable us to continue to provide our services to you after 1 April 2024 were transferred to Murray Beith Murray LLP.

The LLP assumes responsibility for all ongoing matters on which Murray Beith Murray were instructed on your behalf.

Terms of Business

Your engagement with Murray Beith Murray transferred to Murray Beith Murray LLP and continues to apply to all work being carried out on or after 1 April 2024, subject to the following changes:-

    • your engagement is with Murray Beith Murray LLP;
    • any reference in our Terms of Business and Letter of Engagement (or elsewhere) to “partners” is construed as “members” of Murray Beith Murray LLP;
    • references in our Terms of Business and Letter of Engagement to Murray Beith Murray is construed as references to Murray Beith Murray LLP;
    • the limitations of liability and any caps on liability attaching to Murray Beith Murray LLP are as stated in our Terms of Business and Letter of Engagement.

New instructions from 1 April 2024 are subject to new Terms of Business and Letters of Engagement issued by Murray Beith Murray LLP.

Bank account

As part of the conversion to an LLP structure, there was no change to the sort codes or bank account numbers for any of our client accounts.   

If you receive any request to send money to different accounts, please do not comply as the request will not have been made by Murray Beith Murray or Murray Beith Murray LLP.  In this event, please telephone the solicitor who deals with your affairs to notify us of the position.

Any references to “Murray Beith Murray” on this website, in documents, in communications (or elsewhere) shall be construed as references to Murray Beith Murray LLP; Any reference to “partners” on this website, in documents, in communications (or elsewhere) shall be construed as “members” of Murray Beith Murray LLP.
