Fraser works in the firm’s asset protection group and specialises in advising individuals and their families on a broad range of private client matters.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Fraser worked for almost 10 years at the Scottish Government, developing policy and implementing legislative change in a number of high-profile areas, including the Environment, Agriculture, and Rail Transport. During this time, Fraser studied for his Law Degree on a part-time basis, and on completion accepted a training contract at a prominent Edinburgh firm.
Following this, Fraser pursued his interest in litigation, representing clients in various civil actions including separation, divorce, child contact, intellectual property and commercial contract disputes. Fraser appeared regularly at Sheriff Courts throughout central Scotland, and also at Mental Welfare Tribunals and Children’s Panel Hearings, gaining valuable experience in protecting the interests of vulnerable clients, including adults with impaired capacity.
It was Fraser’s decision to specialise in Private Client matters which brought him to Murray Beith Murray. Since joining in July 2015, our clients have appreciated Fraser’s clear, practical advice and insightful guidance.
