Rural Partner Andrew Linehan is appointed vice-president of SAAVA

Andrew LinehanAs reported in Scottish Legal News today, Murray Beith Murray Rural Partner and Head of the Rural Property group, Andrew Linehan, has been appointed as vice-president of SAAVA (Scottish Agricultural Arbiters and Valuers Association). SAAVA provides advice to valuers, arbiters, auctioneers, surveyors, solicitors, accountants and others having professional or personal interests in rural valuation work, and promotes uniformity of practice in arbitration procedure and associated valuation work.

Andrew continues to act as Legal Advisor to SAAVA and is the first lawyer in Scotland to pass the related CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers) examination and qualify for Fellowship of CAAV - a national organisation with professional authority to represent valuers and ensure professional standards across the UK.  Andrew is also accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Agricultural Law.

Commenting on his recent success Andrew said, ‘I am enormously proud of my recent appointment with SAAVA and I have great respect for their aims.  Together, with my CAAV fellowship we are aligned in our commitment to best practice and the highest standards for clients.’
