Murray Beith Murray is delighted to be recognised in three prestigious annual publications this week – The Legal 500 UK, which ranks the UK’s best law firms; Spear’s 500, the guide to the best advisors for high-net-worth private clients; and the eprivateclient Top Law Firms 2021 listing.
The Legal 500 UK again, ranks Murray Beith Murray as a Tier 2 legal firm for ‘Personal tax, trusts and executries’ and ‘Contentious trusts and probate’ – one of the few Scottish private client law firms to be ranked in the top two tiers for both core practice areas. The firm’s Rural group is also awarded a Tier 3 ranking for ‘Agriculture and Estates’ expertise - another of the firm’s core practice areas. Head of Rural, Andrew Linehan joins Ruthven Gemmell and Hugh Younger as Leading Individuals, three of only a handful of lawyers recognised in this way, and Asset Protection Associates, Caroline Pringle and Sophie Napier, retain recognition as Recommended Lawyers.
Spear’s 500 ranks Head of Asset Protection, Peter Shand, and Head of Executry, Andrew Paterson, among the best tax lawyers for high-net-worth individuals and The Legal 500 UK recognises both as Recommended Lawyers.
Lastly, eprivateclient names Murray Beith Murray as one of the Top Law Firms 2021, an index which lists UK firms that specialise in supplying high quality private wealth legal and tax advice to individuals and families, both domestically and internationally.
