The Legal 500 recognises Murray Beith Murray as one of the UK’s best law firms through extensive independent research of the firm, the service offering, and work analysis. The directory also speaks directly with firm clients and peers who provide feedback on their experiences.

Client and peer comments include recognition of Murray Beith Murray’s ‘experienced and client-focused practitioners’ providing ‘technical expertise, experience, standing in the market and prompt attention’ with ‘a unique service that blends expert advice delivered in a friendly manner with a personal touch unrivalled by other firms’.

Senior Partner, Ruthven Gemmell and Head of Rural, Andrew Linehan again rank as Leading Individuals, two of only a handful of lawyers recognised in this way.

Group heads of the Asset Protection and Executry groups, Peter Shand and, Andrew Paterson, are Recommended Lawyers with both Partners also recently ranked in Spear’s 2023 Tax Lawyers Index.

Within the Asset Protection group Partners, Sophie Napier and Fraser Scott, are recognised as Recommended Lawyers, alongside Associate, Kathryn Johnston, and Senior Solicitor, Adam Swayne.
