Murray Beith Murray’s response to Coronavirus

MBM Office New 380x260

We have been closely monitoring the developing COVID-19 situation. Our priority is to act responsibly to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients, employees, and contacts as well as continuing to deliver our legal, property and tax services.  Our Business Continuity system is robust, and a number of measures have already been taken as part of our response.

Working with our clients

Murray Beith Murray is committed to supporting our clients through this period of extended uncertainty. We have, from the outset, put in place contingency plans to tackle the issues as they arise.  As a firm, we are well placed to withstand challenging times, and we can reassure clients that:

  • Our client services will continue uninterrupted and we will continue to engage with our clients, in accordance with UK Government guidelines.
  • The firm already uses secure technology, which enables remote working across most areas of the firm, where the need arises.
  • We have launched a comprehensive communications programme for our colleagues and clients including guidance on best practice hygiene and infection control.
  • All of our employees have access to wellbeing, health support and advice where required.

We will continue to respond to UK Government advice as and when the position evolves, and can reassure clients that we are addressing it responsibly.

In the meantime, Murray Beith Murray will ensure that meetings with clients continue by telephone, or via appropriate technology such as video conferencing, and we trust you will understand and support us in this course of action.

In the coming days more of our people will follow the Government recommendations to work from home. However, contact us, as usual, for guidance on your legal, property and tax affairs by telephone and email.
