Buying a Property

At Murray Beith Murray we understand that buying a property is one of the most significant financial decisions you will ever make. As a result our highly experienced and award winning Residential Property team aim to make the process as smooth as possible. We can guide you through the whole process; from arranging a viewing, to “noting interest”, to organising a survey, to then negotiating and concluding the terms of the purchase. Our service is partner-led and we provide our clients with a very high standard of personal service and attention.

If you are looking to buy but have not found your ideal property, we have an ever growing property database which makes it easier to identify properties that meet your criteria, whether it be a main residence or an investment property, ultimately saving you both time and money.

Selling a Property

Selling a property can be a tense, nerve-wracking experience particularly given changing market conditions. Our team at Murray Beith Murray are highly experienced in property sales and can help to remove the stress. Over 90% of all properties sold in the Edinburgh area are sold through the ESPC, of which we are a member.

We will take you through the process from beginning to end, from negotiating with potential purchasers, handling offers, concluding missives, to dealing with your mortgage lender. We provide a full estate agency service which includes advice on marketing and advertising, together with completion of the necessary conveyancing.

Whilst we are selling your property, it will appear on our website, the ESPC, Primelocation, Find a Property, and Location International and other leading property sales websites. Viewers of your property will be followed up within 24 hours for their feedback. In our experience, this invaluable information can enhance the selling process.

We also have an extensive property database of potential purchasers, whom we regularly update with information on new properties. This ensures that your property gets the best possible start on the market.
